Prerequisite: ENG 5110. The Course Will Provide An In-depth Study Of Materials, Analytical Procedures And Manufacturing Processes Associated With Electronics Manufacturing. Topics Will Include Design And Manufacturing Standards, Stencil Printing, Component Placement, Soldering, Cleaning, Testing, Inspection, Real-time Process Control, Automation In Electronics Manufacturing, Application Of High Speed Placement Systems, Precision Assembly, Electronics Manufacturing Materials And Their Properties, Current Practices In Electronics Manufacturing, Future Directions In Precision Assembly. Industry Projects Will Be Part Of The Course Work.
