This Course Emphasizes How Problems In The Pricing, Production And Distribution Of Health Care Services Affect Public And Private Financing Of Health Services In The United States. Topics That Will Be Covered Include Public And Private Investments In Producing Health Services, Hospital And Physician Models, Markets And Competition In Health Care, And Regulation And Financing Of Hospital And Primary Care Services. Special Emphasis Will Be Placed On Examining The Relationships Between Principles Of Health Care Economics And The Development And Organization Of Managed Care Delivery Systems.
