PHC 6194 Geographic Information Systems

The Introduction Of Gis Course Will Cover The Input, Storage, Management Transformation Analysis And Graphical Output Of Geographical Information System And How Gis Is Applied To A Variety Of Spatial Geographical Problems In Public Health And Epidemiology. The Lectures Will Cover General Theories Methodologies And Applications Of Gis While The Exercises Will Be Based On Using And Implementing One Of Many Packages Currently Available. The Lectures And Exercises Will Provide The Student Background To Design His/her Own Independent Project.
