NUR 3617 Promoting the Health of Populations I (1)

This course is designed to introduce students to basic epidemiology concepts with a focus on levels of prevention, public health core functions and conceptual models to meet population health needs. The role of the nurse in health education also is addressed. The course is offered in seven and a half weeks period.
