EAS 5102 Fundamentals Of Aerodynamics (3) THIS COURSE IS A TECHNICAL ELECTIVE COURSE DESIGNED FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS IN THE AERONAUTICS TRACK AND AREA OF THERMAL AND FLUID SCIENCES. THE COURSE INCLUDES FUNDAMENTAL FLUID MECHANICS AND AERODYNAMIC PRINCIPLES IN THE DESIGN OF AIRFOIL AND AIRCRAFT WINGS. IT PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW CONCERNING APPLICATIONS, TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES, AND SOCIAL IMPACTS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MODERN FLIGHT VEHICLE. THE COURSE PROVIDES AN OVERVIEW OF THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES AND EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATIONS TO ANALYZE BASIC AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF AN AIRCRAFT CONFIGURATION.
