CHM 1031L Chemistry For Health Sciences Lab (1)

Prerequisite: CHM 1030  With Passing Grade. Experiments Include Basic Chemical Reactions Of Alkanes, Alkenes, Carbohydrates And Proteins; Chromatography And Synthesis Of Organic Compounds. CHM 1045  General Chemistry I (3) : CHM 1015  With Passing Grade Or Passing Grade On Departmental Qualifying Exam. Fundamental Laws, Theories And Principles Of Chemistry Are Introduced. Topics Include Properties Of Matter, Nomenclature, Reactions, Including Redox Reactions, Stoichiometry, Gases, Thermochemistry, Modern Atomic Theory, Bonding And Structure, Aqueous Solutions, And Periodic Relationships.
