This course is the first in the inquiry/intervention sequence of the graduate program. Its focus is upon the nature of inquiry in architecture. Inquiry is examined in the context of alternative design methods and philosophical postures. The major course project consists of the establishment of a philosophical position that can be the basis for the future master¿s project.
