RED 5546 Reading Instruction for Students with Disabilities (3)

This course (competency 4) addresses the fourth and fifth reading competencies: (4) prescribing, differentiating instruction, and utilizing appropriate strategies and materials based upon scientifically based reading research in order to address the prevention, identification, and remediation of reading difficulties and (5) the application of effective, research-based instructional methodology to prevent reading difficulties and to promote acceleration of reading progress for struggling students.
