PHT 5025 Professional Behavior (1)

An overview of professional behavior, communication and ethics. Students will be introduced to behaviors of an individual in a service profession and strategies for development of these behaviors. Topics in Ethics include deontological and teleological ethics, methods to identify and analyze ethical dilemmas in the practice of physical therapy, application of the APT A Code of Ethics and Guide for Professional Conduct to solving ethical dilemmas, and state and federal laws that apply to physical therapy.
