NGR 5110DL Theory Application and Advanced Role Development in Nursing (3)

Examines the development of philosophical and theoretical bases for nursing practice. Includes the study and critique of nursing theories and theories from related disciplines. The interrelationships between nursing theory, research and practice are emphasized. This course also provides students the opportunity to begin to develop a conceptual framework for their own practice and research. THIS COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT ON-LINE.
Prerequisite: Admission to Masters of Nursing Science Program or special approval.
