CHM 1045 General Chemistry I (3)

Fundamental laws, theories and principles of chemistry are introduced. Topics include properties of matter, nomenclature, reactions, including redox reactions, stoichiometry, gases, thermochemistry, modern atomic theory, bonding and structure, aqueous solutions, and periodic relationships.
Prerequisite: Prereq: CHM 1020/1021 or CHM 1020.
