ARC 6910 Introduction to Thesis Planning & Research (3) The class helps students initiate the thesis planning and research process which involves deliverables and intermediate due dates, crits, group review of work in progress, faculty guests, chalk talks and short exercises. The purpose of the class is to support each student’s personal thesis work, to honor the student –thesis chair relationship and the individuality of each unique inquiry while encouraging attention to considerations that the School and University deem important for all thesis efforts. The course concludes with a defined the area of study, the topic of investigation within the study area and the particular issue or question within the topic that will be the focus of thesis inquiry. Prerequisite: ARC 6974 .
