ECH 5261 Advanced Transport Phenomena I

Development Of The Fundamental Aspects Of Continuum Mechanics In Order To Describe The Transport Of Momentum, Energy, And Mass. The Basic Equations Of Fluid Mechanics Are Developed, And A Number Of Applications To Chemical Engineering Problems Are Considered. Also Emphasizes Boundary Conditions At Phase Interfaces, And Derivation Of The Point And Macroscopic Balance Equations For These Transport Processes.
Corequisite: ECH 5842  Or Permission Of Instructor
