PHY 2049 GENERAL PHYSICS II Credit hours: 1 This course is a continuation of General Physics I, providing an in-depth study of electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics. Students will explore the fundamental principles that govern these areas, building upon the foundational knowledge of classical mechanics. The course emphasizes problem-solving and experimental techniques, fostering an understanding of how these physical concepts have been developed and refined through significant contributions to the scientific tradition. Through theoretical analysis and practical experiments, students will gain insights into the application of these principles in various technological and scientific advancements.
