QMB 2100 QUANTITATIVE METHODS & BUSINESS DECISIONS I Credit hours: 3 This course introduces students to the quantitative methods and analytical tools used in business decision-making. Introductory statistics topics include descriptive statistics, probability, regression analysis, decision analysis, and basic optimization techniques. Students will learn how to apply these methods to solve real-world business problems, enhancing their ability to make informed decisions based on quantitative data. The course also explores the historical development of quantitative analysis in business, highlighting key concepts that have influenced modern business practices. Through practical applications and case studies, students will gain proficiency in using quantitative tools to improve business outcomes. Prerequisite: GEB 1441 , MAC 2312 Or Business Analysis II.
