EEE 5317 Power Electronics

The Purpose Of This Course Is To Develop A Basic Understanding Of Using Switched Electronic Circuits For The Conversion And Regulation Of Electric Power. The Course Will Focus On The Basic Converters And Their Steady State Analysis. Dynamic Modeling Analysis, Controller Design, Power Semiconductor Device, And Simulation Are Also Covered.
Prerequisite: EEL 3135; EEL 3300.
