LAW 6372 Adv Appellate Advocacy This Course Will Instruct Students On Advanced Appellate Advocacy Through Contemporaneously Tracking An Actual United States Supreme Court Case. Student Will Consider The Merits And Presidential Value Of Several Pending Cases And “grant Cert” To One Of Them. The Students Will Then Review The Record And Briefs Of The Case And Learn About The Role Of The Judicial Law Clerks By Drafting A Bench Memorandum Advising A Judge On The Issues Of The Case And Making Recommendation For Its Disposition . The Class Will Then Sit As The Supreme Court , Review The Oral Argument In The Case As It Happens , Conference And The Decide The Case Case Through The Collaborative Drafting Of Written Opinions.
