LAW 6842 Law And Film Seminar

This Course Will Examine How The Law And Lawyers Have Been Depicted In Film And Television Over The Years; Other Media May Be Included. Students Will Be Required To View Two Movies And Selected Television Programs Each Week And Prepare A Written Comparision Of The Role Of The Law And Lawyers As They Are Depicted By The Authors And Actors. Topics That Will Be Examined Include The Use Of The Rules Of Evidence, Courtroom Etiquette, Ethics, Gender, Ethnicity, And A Comparison Of The Victims And Types Of Legal Issues Covered By The Shows.
