An Introductory Course That Covers Orthotic And Prosthetic Principles, Characteristics Of The Materials Used In Their Fabrication And Assessment Of Patients That Require And Use An Orthotic/prosthetic Device. The Use Of Orthotics For Adult And Pediatric Patients With Neurological Dysfunction Will Be Addressed. Special Emphasis Is Given To The Impact Of Orthotics And Prosthetics On Mobility And Function During Ambulation.
