HSC 4608 Critical Thinking in Health Professions: Multicultural Health (3)

This course is designed to facilitate the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills in health care through analyzing and positing solutions to issues facing health care professionals. A problem - based learning approach is used as students examine multicultural health and forces impacting cultural competency in health care. Students work independently and or in small group to collect and review pertinent information and take a hypothesis -oriented approach for case studies presented.
