HSC 2577 Health and Nutrition for Disease Prevention (3) PRESENTS CORE NUTRITIONAL INTERVENTION AND WELLNESS CONCEPTS AS REQUISITE TOOLS AND SKILLS FOR ENTERING HEALTH PROFESSIONS. PARTICULAR EMPHASIS IS GIVEN TO UTILIZING THE PUBLIC AND COMMUNITY-BASED CARE MODEL AS OPPOSED TO A PURELY BUSINESS OR HOSPITAL-BASED APPROACH IN PROMOTING OPTIMAL HEALTH AND PREVENTING DISEASE.
