EIN 4940 Industrial And Manufacturing Engineering Practicum (2)

The objective of the course is to provide students with an understanding and hands-on practice into computer-assisted and additive manufacturing approaches as related to product design and manufacturing. Topics covered in this section include (1) computer aided design for development , (2) process design, (3) manufacturing implementation /execution , and (4) additive manufacturing principles for product development. The class will emphasize hands-on assignments for utilizing major commercial software packages during product development projects.
