Agribusiness, BS

Agribusiness is an applied field of study integrating the principles of economics, business, management and agriculture. It also involves solving operational problems of agricultural related firms by using modern  decision making aids as well as forecasting and strategic planning.

A total of 120 semester hours are required for graduation. Also a minimum of 27 semester hours are required in the major discipline (AEB).

AEB Directed Electives may be either 2000, 3000 or 4000 AEB, ECO, ECP, MAN and REE courses other than the core AEB courses. There can be up to 7 different AEB electives offered during a two year period. (9 hrs). Other courses will be considered on a case by case basis with the permission of the student’s advisor.


CAFS Directed Electives may be any 2000, 3000 or 4000 level course offered in CAFS other than AEB courses (9 hrs).


Other Directed Electives may be any course not part of the curriculum and can be used to develop a minor. Other courses will be considered on a case by case basis with the permission of the student’s advisor. (15 hrs)
