Accreditation

Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, professional, and doctorate degrees. University Electronic Catalog

The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University electronic catalog is updated annually and constitutes the University’s official document of record. The catalog includes general information about the University and information on degree requirements, academics programs, admission and campus life.

The provisions of the catalog do not constitute a contract, expressed or implied, between any applicant, student, or employee, member and the University. The University and its Board of Trustees reserve the right to withdraw courses at any time, to change fees, calendars, curricula, graduation procedures, and any other requirements affecting students. Changes will become effective policies as duly appropriate and will apply both to prospective students and to those already enrolled.
