The Overall Goal Of This Course Is To Provide Graduate Students With A Systematic Understanding Of The U.s. Health Care System-the Arrangement And Delivery Of Health Care Services In The U.s. The Development Of The U.s. Medical Care System, Its Current Status And Future Trends Will Be Discussed. The Course Will Also Cover The Historical, Social, Political, And Economic Forces That Influence The Access, Utilization, Quality, And Cost Of Health Care Services. Health Care Concepts And Terminology, Available Technology And Resources, Provider Characteristics, Methods Of Financing, Government Regulation, And Health Care Reform Initiatives Will Be Reviewed.
