Other hours toward the journalism minor will be planned by the student with the consent of the faculty/academic advisor. Some prerequisites may be waived at the discretion of the Dean. Students must discuss their minor programs with an advisor before embarking on programs. Students electing a minor must type at least 40 words per minute (85 percent accuracy) and be proficient in grammar and spelling.
